The Invasion Has Begun…Monsters from the Midwest!

Seaweed Muscamoot Sold Out

Posted: June 5th, 2009 | Author: Kirby | Filed under: Uncategorized | 6 Comments »

Our first release, LM001B, aka Big Muscamoot – Seaweed Version is officially sold out. We’ll be working on getting LM001A (Fire on the Water Version) done in time for a pre-SDCC release, but we’re not sure when we’ll have it done. It might have to be an SDCC release. We’ll see.

Regardless, thank you everyone who purchased a Lake Monster today…as well as everyone else who has expressed interest in the project. And finally, congrats to Chris Ryniak, designer and sculptor of Big Muscamoot, on the quick sellout of our first release!

Damn, I’m too slow with the refresh key or something. I missed this one, but I’ll (hopefully) snag the next one. Congrats on the fast sell through.

How many of these seaweed lake monsters were produced? Or is that information confidential?

All of the editions are going to be on the small side, but since some releases will be larger than others we’re keeping the exact numbers private. The reasoning is that we would much rather people pick up the ones they want and not base their decisions on how rare a certain design is. In short…if you like it, buy it. If you don’t, there will be other versions that maybe you like better. Hope that helps!

Yeah. Thank you for the info. :) I just was bummed and wanna whine cause I wanted a lake monster but didn’t realize they were THAT limited and was waiting a few days for the actual cash instead of credit carding it…. sigh. I guess there’s always the orange one… :D
